“Police – Your Friends for Life.”

The Village of Sodus Police Officers, Chief Tom Ryan and Sergeant Adam Verkey, were pleased to host the Sodus Central School first graders in the Sodus Police Office on Friday, October 24th. The teachers, Mrs. Hendricks, Mrs. Jones, Miss Luckman, and Miss Smith, accompanied their enthusiastic students who asked the officers several questions about the office and the police car. The students were allowed to look inside the car as Sergeant Verkey set off the 5 different sirens that are used for various calls. Each student and teacher received a water bottle filled with goodies and a bookmark with the slogan “Police – Your Friends for Life.”
