Welcome to the Village of Sodus Department of Public Works (DPW).

The Department of Public Works plays an important role in maintaining the

infrastructure, facilities, and public spaces that serve Village residents,

businesses, and visitors. Our goal is to provide dependable, efficient services

while helping to keep the Village of Sodus safe, clean, and well maintained

throughout the year.

The DPW is responsible for a variety of essential municipal services, including the maintenance of Village streets, sidewalks, drainage systems, public properties, parks, and other Village-owned infrastructure. Department personnel also assist with seasonal operations such as snow and ice removal, leaf and brush collection, and other maintenance needs throughout the community.

Our staff works throughout the year to address routine maintenance, respond to weather-related conditions and emergencies, and complete improvement projects that help preserve and enhance the Village.
